The Royal Park Officer, Chris Nicholson, has asked for some willing helpers to help remove the exotic weed African Broom in the Remnant Vegetation Site in Royal Park West next week – taking advantage of their present small size and the softened ground.  The day/time is Wednesday Sept 30, from 9am, meeting along the fire track at the top of the Remnant Site (access off Manningham Street, Parkville West, then up the steps behind the Ross Straw Pavilion and through the gates into the Remnant Site along the fire track).   BYO gardening gloves.
